Eggs-citing Easter Activities!
Whitefriars is pulling out all the stops this Easter to banish the wet winter woes! We are staging a host of ‘eggs-citing’ events to appeal to adults and children alike.
Hop aboard the Whitefriars ‘Eggs-press’ land train for a tour around the shopping centre. Tickets are free, but you might wish to make a voluntary donation to the CLIC Sargent children’s charity. The train will operate from Rose Square, outside the soon-to-be Primark store, making a circuit along Rose Lane, St George’s Street, Whitefriars Street and Gravel Walk. It will run from 10.30am to 4pm on Thursday 17 April and Monday 21 April.
Don’t worry if you miss the train, as the Easter bunny will also be making an appearance armed with loads of chocolate eggs to give away on Friday 18 April and Saturday 19 April, from 10.30am to 4pm (while stocks last). He'll make an appearance in the Whitefriars Arcade on the hour and half hour. One egg contains a Golden Ticket, entitling its owner to a £500 shopping spree in Whitefriars! There will also be five Silver Tickets worth £100 each.
While you’re in Whitefriars, why not join in Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Easter bear hunt? There’s a £25 gift card for the winner, but no-one goes away empty-handed, as all participants will receive a free bag of mini chocolate eggs. Pick up an entry form in store from 4 April.
