Requirements of a RUSH Hair:
  • NVQ Hairdressing Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in hair cutting and a foundation in hair colouring.
  • To have good customer service skills and work well in a team.
  • Passionate about the hair industry and up to date about current trends and products.

Have you just left school and dream of starting your hairdressing career with a leading hair salon group? Well Rush Hair is for you!
 
During your hairdressing apprenticeship, you will spend your time between courses in our Rush Academy for up to 24 months being taught by our award winning Art Team members. The rest of your time will be spent working closely with our highly skilled stylists in the salons, earning while you learn.
 
At the end of your training you will qualify with an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and will work as an Stylist in a Rush salon. You will apply what you have learnt and start to cut and colour your own client’s hair. At Rush we believe in the importance of education and career progression. We offer free continuous training once you become a Rush Stylist in the latest industry trends and techniques, providing you with the opportunity to experience a variety of different career paths from a leading hair brand.
 
Responsibilities of a Rush Hair Assistant:
  • Attending the Rush Academy 1 day a week to complete your NVQ Level 2 qualification.
  • To assist hair stylists with the styling and colouring of client’s hair.
  • Learning the correct techniques for shampooing and conditioning client’s hair and carrying out head massages.
  • Learning about retail products and advising clients how to maintain salon professional hair at home.
  • Passionate about the hair industry and up to date about current trends and products.
  • We ask that you keep up to date with the latest trends, techniques and hairdressing industry news, this will grow your personal knowledge.

Would you like to work in a fast paced environment scheduling and organising a creative team and being the first point of contact with clients?
 
As Front of House in a Rush Hair salon you will work closely with every member of the salon team ensuring the salon is running efficiently. Recruiting the right Front of House is very important to us at Rush Hair, this role is vital to the salon running effectively.
 
At Rush we encourage our staff to progress in their career through training courses. There are opportunities at Rush to become a Salon Manager, a member of our Operations Team or a Franchisee in time.
 
Requirements of a Rush Front of House:
  • To be highly organised and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or Front of House position – hair and/or Beauty industry preferred.
  • To have an interest and knowledge of the hair industry.
  • To work well within a team, we are looking for a confident, bubbly person who can motivate the team of stylists and help maximise salon bookings.
  • Job Description:
  • Supporting the Salon Manager with various administrative tasks in the salon, answering the phone, emails and liaising with Head Office.
  • To organise bookings and welcome and greet clients, providing an excellent customer experience. Ensuring they are looked after and have a memorable experience at Rush.
  • To build good relationships with clients, communicating effectively about the best professional retail products and services.
